  • Why do you have varying prices, are you a training salon?

    Our technicians work at three levels, based upon their accomplishments in our in-salon Skill-Certification Program. You can always have peace of mind knowing that you are in the talented hands of a Skill-Certified team member. You will always experience the highest level of guest service, whichever skill level you choose. Our philosophy is to do whatever is best for you, our guest. No matter the longevity in one’s career, we require all staff to go through our in-salon Skill-Certification program. As staff progress through the program, they are promoted. We are aware that you may have a specific need-we are here to service you. Therefore we have designed our salon with multiple pricing levels and flexibility to work around your schedule. You are our top priority.
  • My service provider is always so busy. How can I be sure they are available when it's convenient for me?

    We’re a team at Fusion 3 Salon. Your schedule is our top priority. To guarantee an appointment with your favorite provider, simply schedule it well in advance, even if that means scheduling it before leaving the salon. We always recommend scheduling at least six months worth of appointments. This guarantees availability with our service providers at a date and time that is most convenient to you. Remember, you can always have peace of mind knowing that any one of our service providers has completed our in salon Skill Certification Program that is focused on True Quality and that we welcome you to get a fresh perspective and try new staff as frequently as you are comfortable.
  • Won’t my normal service provider be upset?

    Not a chance. Every service provider appreciates you and we have great people that are interested in your needs. While we all enjoy making personal, lasting relationships, we want to satisfy your busy schedule and desire for change. We would rather all know you and enjoy your company than just a single technician. Of course, if you are more comfortable with one person, we are happy to service you as well.
    In addition, staff members are paid competitive hourly salaries that allow them to have security and peace of mind knowing that they are going to have an income. We don’t pay commissions or allow rental.

  • Do you confirm appointments?

    Yes! If we have your email address, you will get an automatic appointment confirmation email.  From that email, you can confirm your appointment and our systems are automatically updated.  If you do not use the email, we'll start to call you a few days before your appointment, and will continue to call you until we have reached you.
  • How much should I tip?

    That’s completely up to you. Tipping for service at a salon is typically handled as you would tip for service in a restaurant. Generally 10-20% of the total service is appropriate, depending upon how you feel the quality of service was.
  • How long should I grow my hair before waxing and is anyone a candidate?

    For optimum results, hair should be one-quarter of an inch in length. Certain medical conditions and the consumption of certain medications prohibit us from waxing.
  • Why does someone else sometimes wash, and/or style my hair?

    We do our best to schedule your entire appointment with the same service provider. Because we can be extremely booked, often the only way that we can accommodate your requested services is to schedule you with multiple people. We always let you know while scheduling as well as during the confirmation calls. In addition, we are a team. If a team member needs assistance, someone will always volunteer to help out and make sure that your services are provided in the proper amount of time. To guarantee just one service provider it’s best to schedule at least 6 months of appointments before leaving.
  • Should I wash my hair before coloring it or getting an up do?

    No. While all Aveda products are color safe and retain the natural oils, “worn’ hair is best as it has better holding properties and is easier to work with.
  • What is the difference between Fusion 3 Salon and Aveda?

    Fusion 3 Salon uses Aveda products and sells Aveda retail items, but we are not Aveda. Aveda is a product manufacturer that distributes it's product to select Salons, Spas, and Retail locations around the world.
  • Are Fusion 3 Salon Gift Cards valid only at Fusion 3 Salon?

    Yes. Fusion 3 Gift Cards are available in any dollar amount and are redeemable for products, services or both. Fusion 3 Gift Cards are not valid at other Aveda Concept or Lifestyle Salons or Retail Locations.
  • Can men and children come to Fusion 3?

    Absolutely. We provide service for men and children every day who are conscious about quality service and attention. We do ask that a parent or guardian supervise all children.
