What does it mean to be Team-Based?

  1. We practice "team service".  This means that while a guest has an appointment with a specific service provider, the entire team is there to help.  Running behind?  Your team members help out with a color brush, a blow dryer, shampooing, a hand massage, or all of it.  The same is expected of you.  Team service elevates the expectation of the guest.  It takes service to another level.

  2. Guests aren't locked into one service provider.  Unlike commission or rental where stylists are often fighting over guests because they represent a dollar, we work together.  Everyone receives a generous hourly wage, and everyone does everything necessary to make sure that the guest's expectations are exceeded.  The guest wants to try a different stylist next time? No problem.  The guest has to see someone else because of a scheduling conflict?  No problem.  We're all here to make them happy.  The skills of the team are far greater than the skills of an individual.

  3. Skill Certification.  Every team member must complete our in-salon skill certification program.  This gives the guest confidence that when they do see multiple service providers, they will still look and feel like a million bucks.

  4. Pricing aren't based on years of experience.  What?  That's right.  Experience only matters if you have been good for all of that time.  What's most important is how good are you now.  Great isn't just the best cutter or the best colorist.  Great stylists know how to make people happy.  Our guests come because they want to look great, for sure.  More importantly, they want to be confident; they want to FEEL great.

  5. We have a fresh perspective.  Do you ever get stuck, or stagnant with what to do next for a guest's look?  You do and so does the guest.  A team of experts never gets stale.  We challenge each other, our creativity feeds each others'.  Guests appreciate a fresh perspective and welcome change, sometimes it takes a team of experts to help define what that is.

  6.
