New ZERO formaldehyde Brazilian Blowout Formula!

What makes Brazilian Blowout ZERO different from other professional smoothing treatments on the market?

Most professional smoothing treatments are formulated using a methylene glycol based bonding system.

Brazilian Blowout ZERO is formulated with a breakthrough Plant-Derived KeraSafe Bonding System. This bonding system releases 0% Formaldehyde before, during or after the in-salon smoothing treatment.

Busy Beautiful Mommy: 5 Minute Waves

How To Create Perfect 5 Minute WavesBeautiful Loose Waves

Having a celebrity style when you leave the salon is always great, but transferring that style into your everyday routine can sometimes be challenging. This easy tutorial will show you how to curl your hair into loose waves in under ten minutes! Salon-perfect hair can be yours at home!

Supplies Needed:

  • Hair Spray
  • 1" Curling Iron or Wand
  • Optional- Hair Brush

Easy Steps:

  1. First, section your hair into four quadrants: two side sections and two back sections. If your hair is really thick, then create one additional section at the crown.
  2. Take one section and spray a small amount of hairspray onto it. Using just your fingertips, run your fingers through the section. The hairspray will help protect your hair from the heat.
  3. Next, holding your curling iron with its tip pointed towards the floor, wrap your hair in a spiral motion around the barrel away from your face. You should start with the midlengths of your hair and wrap until you get to the ends of your hair. Only keep the iron in place for a few seconds, then release your hair.
  4. Continue to repeat Steps 2 and 3 on the rest of your sections.
  5. Give your entire hair of head a good, healthy spritz of hairspray.
  6. After the curls have cooled completely, insert your fingers at the roots and tousle your hair. This gives them a slightly undone look, but if you like messy curls, run your fingers through the ends a little too.

One Important Tip! Don't touch the curls until five minutes afer you have completed them. Letting the curls cool helps them set and last longer, so they won't fall flat!

My favorite products to use for curling all types of hair are Aveda Brilliant Medium Hold Hairspray (which can be purchased at any of our three locations: Brentwood, Pleasanton, and Livermore) and Davines Crystal Fixative Laquer for Wizards, which can be purchased only at our Pleasanton and Livermore Locations.
